Meclina is an artist of words and motion. Influenced by the tides and waterways of Cape Cod, Meclina practices the art of contemporary micrography which is based on the Jewish tradition of creating images from religious text.
In her contemporary works Meclina reflects on her dreams of hope for Africa, family, love and a beautiful future. Her words and imagary reflect her strong Cape Veridian heritage in a way that speaks to anyone who experiences them.
